Netflix's 'The Mosquito Bowl', directed by Peter Berg, stars Nicholas Galitzine and Bill Skarsgård. It is based on a true story. The movie follows four college football players who enlist in the Marines during WWII. Early reviews note the technical skills but lament the lack of emotional depth. Ray Nicholson, that played a Marine, underwent knee surgery during filming but returned to work the next day. The movie showcases Pat McAfee in his first acting role.
